Nikka Whisky Bread


Those crazy French. Always doing crazy French things – like pouring a bottle of whisky into a loaf of bread. It’s a rather bold thing to do. They use Nikka From The Barrel, one of the best value for money blends you can buy.

Actually, Nikka From The Barrel is an astounding whisky (and comes in a lovely, quirky 500ml bottle) so part of me gets a little twitchy at seeing macadamia nuts, chestnuts and figs being marinated in it for 24 hours before being used in bread.

But hey, the French know a thing or two about food, so what do I know? I dare say that this loaf of bread doesn’t come cheap…
